The MARS Foundation, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization is looking for your support during the North Texas Giving Day campaign this month. Please consider donating to the wonderful program that provides financial support to families in our community for life-saving swim lessons and water safety instruction. New shirt and swimsuit designs for 2024-25 swim year. These will be available soon and will be given to all MARSian swimmers upon registration for 2025, beginning Sept 1.
The 2024 MARS Foundation Scholarship Winner is Ian Stalzer. Ian has been a MARSian for more than 10 years and will begin his collegiate career at Tarrant County College, studying business. Well done Ian!
Coach Diana has again joined the coaching staff for the DOD Warrior Games in Orlando, FL, June 20-30. MARS is proud of Diana's service to these games and to representing our team there. DOD Warrior Games
Beginning April 15th, MARS Masters will begin offering an evening practice time at the GCISD Swim Center from 6:30-7:30pm, M-F. Coach DJ will be there to work with our Masters group. Our morning group at UTA remains unchanged. MARS Masters swimmers may attend either morning or evening, or both, practices daily. Former MARSian, Dr Brittany King, has finished her 4th marathon in as many days this morning in France as her quest continues for 7 marathons in 7 days on 7 continents. She's been to Australia, Abu Dhabi, Tunisia and France so far this week. She's coming back across the Atlantic for the last three runs. Wow!!!! Come hear Dr King speak at our spring Parent Meeting on March 22nd.
