Welcome to MARS Swimming! We are a year-round swim club serving Arlington, Fort Worth, and the surrounding suburbs, dedicated to providing top-tier swimming lessons for kids ages 5 and up. Our mission is to create a pathway to excellence, helping young swimmers succeed both in the pool and in life, all within a healthy, safe, and positive environment. MARS "Hangs-Ten" in Hawaii

Our 5 swimmer team of Matthew, Dayne, Tristan, Tanyon and Tiffani scored big at the Keo Nakama meet in Hawaii against an international field. MARS placed 10th in team scoring with one of the smallest team in the competition. Kowabunga MARS dudes!!

Coach Suzanne Named To USAS Committee.

Coach Suzanne was recently named to USA Swimming's Diversity Committee. This committee is meeting in Chicago on Dec 16th. Members from the five zones in the US are meeting to establish the goals and vision of USAS for diversity within our national membership. MARS, under the leadership of Coach Suzanne, became one of the first Make-A-Splash local partners in USAS. USAS is recognizing the leadership of Coach Suzanne and MARS with this appointment.

MARS supports the Wheelchair Mavs!

MARS supports the UTA Wheelchair Mavericks, the wheelchair basketball team!  The UTA Movin Mavs are seven-time national champions and have always been supporters of our program.  This year, one of our swimmer's parents are on the Movin Mavs team.  One of them as a player and they other on the team staff. National OW 5k Championships

Another MARS swimmer headed to Nationals

  Matthew Kahlig will join Neil Manning at the USA Swimming Open Water 5k National Championships in Ft. Myers, FL on June 12th.  Matthew qualified for the event with his outstanding performance in the mile swim at TAGS earlier this month. The two MARS swimmers will compete against the world's best open water swimmers at this international event.

MARS Open Water swimmer qualifies for Nationals

  Congratulations to Neil Manning for qualifying for the USA Swimming Open Water 5k National Championships this summer.  Neil will be traveling to Ft. Myers, FL to compete against the best open water swimmers in the world June 11-12, 2011. Neil qualified for nationals at the recent Chesapeake Pro-Am meet in Oklahoma City with an impressive swim in the mile (pool swim).  He has also applied to USA Swimming for the open water select camp the week preceding the championships.  Camp athletes will be announced later in the spring.
